Please Pray For Eric

One of our best friends was fishing in the water at the beach last night and lightning struck the water. A jogger amazingly saw it happen and watched for Eric to come out of the water, but he didn't. Him and another person rushed to Eric and pulled him out of the water and began CPR. That is what saved him...It is a miracle that he is alive. Talk about divine intervention. . .the Lord was watching over him and put those people in the right place at the exact time that it happened.

He is in ICU and they have him in a medically induced coma and are bringing his temp. down to 93 degrees until Sat (LINK). Then they will bring his body temp. back up and bring him out of his coma. We don't know the severity of damage to his heart or his brain. We won't know anything until after Sat. morning. Things are looking positive, but he could really use your prayers. Also, please pray for his wife. They have been married for a year and a half. Her name is Jana.

They are some of our best friends, DH grew up with Eric and they have been friends since he was a child. We hang out with them almost every weekend and we're very concerned for him and appreciate all the prayers we can get for him, Jana, and their families.
