4th of July - Cleaning, Baking, Smoking (no, not that kind), Babies, Fireworks, and more

What a busy 4th of July we had! The first part of the day consisted of smoking pork for Reece's party, baking cakes, and cleaning the house. Randy cleaned all my windows and the front "porch." What a great guy!!!!

Around 4, we met up with a group of friends to eat and go watch fireworks. After we were done eating, we were all in the living room playing wii bowling (even Eric participated). It's hard to believe that less than 2 weeks ago, we were horrified at what Eric had been through and then in awe at the miracle that God did through him. The good news just keeps coming...Eric and Jana told us that they were expecting a baby!!!! Obviously, we were beyond thrilled. There were tears, laughter, hugs, etc. They are such wonderful friends to us and we're so excited that they will be blessed with a baby in about 7 months.

After lots of "baby" talk and fun, we headed down to the beach for the fireworks. We had an excellent spot to sit, on a wall. Kaelin and Madison had lots of fun running around in circles in the sand, repeatedly. Seriously, they ran non-stop! Wish I had that kind of energy at 9 pm at night.

My Little Cuddle Bug was so sleepy!

We had a wonderful time with our awesome friends! We love all of them so much and we are blessed that they are in our lives.

P.S.
Mike, Liz, and Finley.....we miss you!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!! Sounds like lots of fun. How exciting to watch fireworks on the beach. Another perk of FL.

Congrats to Eric and Jana on the pregnancy. God is so good. Praise Him who has touched your lives in so many ways the last couple of weeks.

Now wait a minute Jenn...you had a birthday party without showing us the classic "birthday boy with cake" picutre??? I demand to see it by the end of the week! :) Can Reece already be one???? Amazing! When was his birthday day? Happy Belated little Reece. You sure are a cutie!
