My little helper
Anyway, I'm not fond of decorating them. I have very little artistic talent, so Randy offered to help. He is an artist. You should see some of his drawings, he is quite good actually. Well, we started with the decorating and my first try was beyond ridiculous. So the fun began. We just goofed off and got them done as fast as possible. The kids were watching "Blues Clues", so we only had a half an hour to work with. They are some of the silliest looking cookies, but at least they taste good. I am pretty horrified to know that my mom will see these crazy cookies, because I know that she and some of her friends were doing their traditional day of baking as well. Exact same cookies, except theirs always look like they came from a Martha Stewart magazine. Oh well, at least I tried (sort of).

I only ate a tiny one that Kael made, because I already had a belly ache from all the dough. YUM! I think I like the dough better than the cookies.

Ummmmmm.....A 20 hour drive is a little far for me...but I'm sure the weather would be worth the trip. How about you could just mail me some? The cookies look really cute. Very orginal! :) I'd easily eat them!!!!
oh my goodness, did you see our cookies? Your's are totally cute and very artistic, unlike ours that look like we dumped a blob of frosting on them, but the kids had fun and that was the point.
