We weren't planning on starting potty training for a few more months, but Reece has been pretty interested in the potty lately. He's sat on it quite a few times, but normally nothing happens until he gets OFF of it and pees on the wall or floor. =)
Well, today he pooped in the potty, then later asked to sit on the potty again, then peed too.
WOO HOO
What a big boy! I'm so proud of him. Kaelin and I made a HUGE deal about it and he was so proud. I wish I would've caught him on tape after he went potty. He was sticking his chest out and marching through the house yelling "potty." Kaelin was even doing a potty dance for him. It was very funny!
So, I guess we'll start training him. Who knows how it will go, but it's worth a shot. Oh how I would LOVE to not be buying diapers anymore.

Jenn...I'm so happy you went with it. Suzy was 18 mo. when I started training her and I couldn't believe she would stick with it...but she did. I had never had any of my children start that soon. Good for Reece!
i'm a little jealous, truth be told. Mabri still thinks it's a game, and won't sit still long enough to make the magic happen! Good luck and GO REECE!

Awesome & I'm so jealous! Brock looked at the picture & I told him Reece is going potty so Brock needs to & he just said no & shook his head. We'll see how long he takes. Go Reece!!
