Super Mega Post

WOW!! What a crazy month it's been! Actually, it's been a crazy summer. We've just been going non-stop all summer long. It's been over 2 weeks since my last post, so I'm trying to get this caught up in one super mega post.

~August 2nd,
In my previous post I had a video about our trip to Busch Gardens. We went on Aug. 2nd, which also happens to be our anniversary. It's actually my parents 33rd anniversary as well. Also, Randy's cousin had a baby boy on the 2nd. His name is Cale and boy is he cute. Hop over to Heather's site to see pics. (Baby fever....)

Randy and I have been married for 5 years now. What a crazy ride it's been! We've had ups and downs, happy times, sad times, and I wouldn't want to share them with anyone but him.

He is everything that I lack and more. I actually wrote a list (when I was a teenager) of things what I wanted in a husband (33 "wants" to be exact) and he has all those traits/quailties, except one.

Can you guess what it is? (It's nothing major) Hint: If you know me and my obsessions, you can figure this one out. He and I are total opposites in this area.

Regardless, he is a wonderful husband and father of our children and I'm so thankful that I married him. I couldn't ask for more!!!

~August 3rd, was one of Kaelin's birthday parties. We had 2 different ones this time. This one was with friends that we hang out with regularly. Kaelin has been around them since she was born and they are very special to us.

Well, they have sure gotten used. Kaelin wears them at least once a day and when kids come over to play, they always want to wear them too...not a bad toy for only $6.

~August 5th, was Kaelin's birthday and the day that my dear friend, Karen, had her baby. His name is Chase and we are so excited that Kaelin and Chase now share a birthday. You can see pictures on Karen's blog. (More baby fever...)

~August 7th, two of our best friends (Kelby and Jill) had a sweet baby girl. Her name is Ella Wren and she is a cutie! We are totally in love with her already and we've only seen her 3 times. We are beyond thrilled to have her in our "family." Check out this sweetness.







~August 9th, The Miller's got together to celebrate Kaelin and Ben's birthdays. We had planned on going to Jungle Gardens, but then it poured down rain, so we went to G. Wiz instead. The kids had a blast...the adults had fun too. It's always great to be with family. Kaelin and her cousins get along so well and they always enjoy playing together. I imagine Kaelin will have lots of "protectors" when she gets older. :)
