Fall Fun In Illinois - Part 3

The kids (and I) had so much fun on the farm. The weather was so great, especially towards the end of the week, so we were able to be outside and enjoy it. The kids had a blast looking at the cows, kittens and chickens. It was so fun to let them experience what I experienced as a kid.

I told Kaelin to go put her shoes on so that we could go out and play. (I went to the room to get Reece's clothes) I guess Reece was so excited to go out that he didn't mind that he wasn't dressed.

PawPaw giving Reece a ride

Reece was NOT happy when I put the 3-wheeler away. He kept trying to open the garage door and get inside :)

Gathering the eggs with Nana

Checking out the cows

My dad took the kids on tractor rides in the big tractor. What an experience for them!

~We were scheduled to come home on Tuesday, but I started getting sick on Sunday. When I say sick, I mean SICK!! I haven't been that sick in probably 3 years. There was no way I could go through an airport with 2 kids and fly home in the condition I was in, so we ended up staying until Sunday. It actually worked out great because my sister-in-law, Jessica, was flying home too, so we got tickets on her flight. She was so great. She helped with the luggage and kids. Thanks Jess....you're a peach!!!~

It looks like you had a great trip! How fun! I love the new look on your blog - so cool! BTW - how did you do the slide show things for your kids birthday's? I can't figure it out!
