What fun we had tonight setting up the Christmas tree! The kids had a blast and we did too. Reece particularly loved chewing on the little bells. (Gag) Kaelin's favorite part was the Christmas music.

Now we just need to fill the bottom of the tree with presents. I got a slow start, but I'm making some progress now. I actually used the internet to order some gifts this year, since it's nice to avoid the "crazies" out there. The grumpy shopping season has begun....I went shopping on Monday night and I already had people push and cut in line. Please tell me it's not just Sarasota??! I'm beginning to wonder.

What a beautiful tree! I agree about the shopping and it's not just Sarasota. I try to avoid going much after Thanksgiving.

What's with putting up the tree in shorts and tank tops? :) It's a little cold here, but just right for sitting by the fire with a book and hot chocolate....love the decorations, very festive!
Really I was thinking the same thing...It's just not right to be putting the tree up in shorts. You make us all jealous. So at least crank the air conditioner and put on a sweater will you ??
Also...we have no rude shoppers here in Indiana. So why don't you move here??? :)

Seriously though, I'd much rather be putting up a tree when it's snowing outside. I love winter!
