Busy with the farm and fireworks

Life is nothing short of exciting for the kids. We've settled into a groove that consists of playing inside, in the basement, outside, in the barn, in the yard, in the pool and at the playground. Oh the life of a child. :)

My brother brought a little turtle home that he found at his job site. The kids were pretty much in awe of it. Reece thinks it's the greatest thing. He even tried to kiss it. YUCK!

On Saturday night, Arthur had it's annual fireworks display. It's a really big deal around here, because it's HUGE. The biggest in central Illinois (and that's saying a lot for the tiny town of Arthur). We met our friends, Greg, Karen and their boys, to watch the show. We had a blast. The kids loved it!!!

Looks like fun Jenn! Fireworks already?? You got a head start on the 4th of July! :) Do the kids or you miss Florida at all?

Actually, yes we do miss it! We miss our friends and family, not the heat though. :)
